Thanks for having this place. This afternoon and evening I visited for my first time. Every one of the staff that I dealt with was helpful and friendly. The two young men who were tending the back track were real standouts (Cody and Shane (or something like that)).

I was especially impressed with the back track. The track is sufficiently slick and the cars are sufficiently fast (and quite equally matched) to provide fun and challenge. All I could muster today was mid 13s to upper 12s, but I am looking forward to learning how to actually drive. (I hear that you are a driving genius!)

I also tried the front track, but only 3 of those cars were fairly evenly matched, and besides, I just had no clue as to what I was doing (or should have been doing) on that track. The best I could manage was mid 11s.

Also, I was very interested to learn of the possibility of a racing league. I gave my name and phone number to the girl at the front desk to call me if we can wrangle up a few more competitors.

For all of my 60+ years, racing is something that I have always wanted to do, done very little of (the cost of real racing is way out of my league, and I could never be good enough to be paid to do it, and been very poor at. Your track, right here in Lubbock, gives me hope that I might be able to learn a little bit about finessing a car around a track before I need a walker!
